PAUL STARRS:

Paul qualified from the University of Glasgow with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree in 1988. He moved to London in 1992 and spent three years working as the in-house dentist for JP Morgan, before moving to a Clinic in the West-End. Paul went on to become a director of BUPA’s dental body corporate whilst working as the Principle Dentist in their Baker Street Clinic before setting up the Clinic in Strawberry Hill.
Post-graduate education Paul completed the year course in advanced restorative dentistry with Michael Wise, one of the most respected dentists in the world, and continued as a member of Michael’s study group for a further three years. He received his most significant education in aesthetic dentistry from the New York based Rosenthal Institute, and to this day he works closely on his aesthetic cases with Adrian Jurim, the New York Ceramist who created the porcelain veneer technique. Paul received his tooth-whitening education from Dr Van Haywood, the American professor who introduced the dental bleaching technique to the world, and at the time of writing, he is studying with the Anglo-American, International Partnership for the Study of Occlusion.
Paul is a member of the British Dental Association, The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and a founder member of the Independent Association of Cosmetic Dentists. He is on the editorial board of Private Dentistry Magazine.
