We aim to put you in the picture about dental disease and help you take appropriate preventative measures while making informed decisions about your treatment. Whilst our expertise lies in creating beautiful dento-facial aesthetics, this is only truly achievable in a healthy, functionally protected mouth.

This leads us to focus on 4 aspects of dental health:

Aesthetics | Tooth decay | Gum disease | Occlusion

AESTHETICS:

Rejuvenation as never before. Creating the perfect smile and a confidence to go with it through tooth whitening or laser gum recontouring.

Fine porcelain laminate veneers can alter the colour, length, shape and alignment of teeth, while erasing wrinkles, making lips fuller and filling out any unaesthetic “negative space” between the teeth and the cheeks.

Missing teeth can be replaced with implants or a bridge.

TOOTH DECAY:

When a tooth develops a cavity, we remove the decay and provide a restoration to replace lost enamel and dentine. For small to medium size cavities we use Composite, which is a tooth coloured resin-based material. In larger cavities, where the tooth requires protection, we recommend the both highly aesthetic and minimally invasive porcelain onlay restoration.

GUM DISEASE:

The most common problem with gums is Gingivitis – inflammation resulting in bleeding while brushing or flossing; caused by plaque and tartar build-up, it is resolved by having your gums cleaned during a hygiene session.

Periodontitis, a more advanced gum disease, results in pocket formation around the necks of the teeth as well as loss of tooth supporting bone. ‘Root Debridement’, the state of the art treatment for this, involves cleaning deep inside gum pockets under local anaesthesia; a painless procedure using both ultrasound and laser.

OCCLUSION:

Headaches, neck ache, grinding – all can be due to a dysfunctional bite relationship which can also result in worn, cracked or fractured teeth. We explain the functional aspects of the mouth and surrounding muscle groups, before you decide on appropriate treatment.
